Volunteering at Burley Lodge
The Burley Lodge centre works with a wide range of local volunteer run projects and there are many ways to get involved.
You can join an existing project as a member. For example if you enjoy drama you may want to join one of the theatre groups we work with.
You can join an existing project as a volunteer. Some of our projects have vacanices for volunteers to help run them, for example Japanese Play Group is currently looking for volunteers to help run weekly play group session. Volunteers receive training to fit their role and support is given to make sure that the volunteers and groups flourish.
You can set up your own brand new project with our support. Got an idea? think you have found something our community needs? Whatever your idea we can help to make it reality with advice and support as you set up.
You can become a volunteer with us at the Burley Lodge Centre and contribute to a number of groups in different ways. Volunteers join the Centre for all sorts of roles that can have a positive effect on volunteer projects.If you are a play work volunteer, there may be the opportunity to help out at sessions and events in projects working with children. Administrative and publicity volunteers can help a variety of groups through their skills they have been developing volunteering for the Burley Lodge Centre.
