Volunteer with Kids United

We’re looking for enthusiastic and creative people to join outdoor play sessions for children aged 5 -11. You’ll need to be encouraging, friendly and willing to help children to explore outdoors. This is a fun and demanding role that requires teamwork. You’ll have your say in planning activities and design of play sessions. No two sessions will be the same and you’ll be giving your time to help provide fantastic play opportunities for young people.

No qualifications are necessary but volunteers must be willing to undertake safeguarding training at level 1. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work co-operatively with other adults. Having the skill to identify issues and plan activities suitable for children of various ages is an additional advantage for this role. We believe in listening to children taking on board their views and we would expect you to be able to do the same.
