We run debt advice drop-ins, debt advice appointments, and children centre appointments.
Drop-in Opening Times: The drop-in session is open from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Wednesday mornings and is for debt issues only. Drop-ins are run on a first come, first seen basis, and we will ask you to complete some forms before being seen by an adviser. Below are some questions that we are regularly asked about the drop-ins: Who can attend? Drop-in sessions are for new enquiries only. The Drop-in is restricted for people who have a debt issue. Please note that we can only advise on PERSONAL debt. We cannot advise on any business debt issues, even if the business is no longer in existence. Please note that if you have an open case with an adviser you should not attend the drop-in sessions. If you need to speak with your adviser about your case, please call 0113 2753 498. What information do I need to bring to Drop-in? Please bring any up to date correspondence about your debts, for example, statements, balances or letters. Also be ready to provide details of your income and expenditure. Debt Advice Appointments: We run an appointment system for those who are not able to attend drop in and/or would prefer a set appointment. Please call us for more information. Appointments are subject to availability and there might be a waiting list. If you are unsure whether you should come to Drop-in or make an appointment please call to check on 0113 2753 498. We also work in partnership with the Law Centre to offer Welfare Rights and Housing appointments on Mondays on a fortnightly basis. Please call 0113 2753498 to book an appointment. Children Centre Appointments: If you have a child under 5 or are pregnant, then Leeds Advice Network- (a partnership between Burley Lodge Centre Advice Service, Leeds and Chapletown CAB) offers generalist advice appointments at Children’s Centres across Leeds, they can be contacted on 0113 2816703 to arrange an appointment.
