Community Services
At Burley Lodge we aim to provide a range of services for the community, from basic things like photocopying to family support. Below is a list of services that we can offer to any member of the community.

Office Services

Councillor and MP Drop In’s
Penny Ewens the liberal democrat councilor for hyde parka nd woodhouse runs a monthly dop in from the centre on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 12:30 – 2 pm.
John Battle MP, runs a drop in session from the centre on the third Saturday of every month from 12:30 onward.
ICT
Our ABLE project provides free computer classes to any member of the public. They currently run on a Monday and Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30 am, the sessions have a qualified and experienced IT tutor on hand to help with any problems, or to provide support to get you computer literate. This isn’t an accredited course but is a good starting point and many of our users have gone on to do other computer qualifications.

Our Reception staff are always on hand to field any queries you might have and don’t mind finding you directions, addresses or other information on the internet.
Advice
Burley Lodge Advice Service gives free, confidential, impartial advice on issues including housing, debt and benefits. They run drop in sessions from the centre Tuesday & Thursday, 10-1 pm and various outreach sessions.
Children’s and Youth Work
Kids United our Children’s work team run weekly sessions from the centre for children age from 5 -12. Providing safe spaces to play and make friends and offering family support to those that need it.
United Youth are our youth work team they run weekly sessions from the centre for young people aged 12 -19 and provide outreach work to other young people in the area.
Volunteering
Our volunteering scheme provides people with the opportunity to contribute to their local community whilst also gaining valuable skills. Our Volunteer project worker can help anybody from the local community who has an idea about an event or group they’d like to happen, working together they can make it a reality.
Room Hire
The centre’s rooms are hired by various community groups for sessions and members of the community are always welcome to hire our rooms for any occasion.
ABLE project
Provides Business Support for social enterprises. Has a resource centre, business advisor,
