Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the area, improve your skills and confidence whilst giving your time and using your enthusiasm to help others. We see volunteering as being a stepping stone for people.

Here at Burley Lodge we have a well established volunteering programme. We work with over one hundred people a year and offer both short and long term volunteering opportunities in the heart of the community.

OUR VISION: “That people in the Burley and Hyde Park area will have the opportunity to volunteer, to benefit both the local community and themselves.”

OUR MISSION: To respond to the needs of the local community through volunteer projects. To recruit volunteers and place them insuitable projects. To improve the prospects of volunteers. To provide ongoing training and support to volunteers.
