Holiday Programs

We just ran a great summer activity programme with trips and crazy activities including Push go Kart making and racing in the park and trips to Doncaster dome among others.

October half term and Christmas Holidays will see us getting up to extra activities and craziness so watch this space for plans, better yet pop into the Youth cafe and let your ideas become part of the plans :~)

Outreach

We regularly go out around Burley and meet new young people, and often run activities in the park, especially during holidays.  During the summer this included Circus Skills outreach and free food give away’s including Ice lolly’s and samosas on different days.

Our  aim to do engage with young people who don’t want to come in the building for what ever reason.  We don’t want anyone to feel excluded, so we are happy to meet them where they are at.

Steering Group

The Steering Group meets weekly and organises its own activities, which includes a business meeting monthly.  If you want to join this group talk to a member of staff.

9 of our young people within the steering group have also managed to complete their challenges towards there bronze Youth Achievement Award.
